New Year’s Eve. A time to shed the dead skin of the last 12 months and prepare for what lies ahead. Hope, fear, excitement, restlessness – the haphazard transition from one year to the next brings with it so many emotions that it’s probably better to relax in front of the TV for at least a night and watch celebrities make fools of themselves during one giant ball covered in crystals and lights slowly descends from a skyscraper flagpole in New York City.

What is it: Hosted by Jonathan Bennett (who played Mean Girls love interest Aaron Samuels) and Jeremy Hassell (professional New Year’s Eve host for 10 years), the official New Year’s Eve webcast from Times Square will apparently be commercial-free and full of interviews and various behind-the-scenes antics.
The show will also be a one-off event The simpsons Guest star Paul Anka (who takes on the traditional reprise of John Lennon’s “Imagine” just before midnight) and rapper Flo Rida, a “Chinese cultural performance” by the Sino-American Friendship Association, appearances by Ali Krieger, Kelley O’Hara and Midge Victory over the this year’s National Women’s Soccer League champions, NJ/NY Gotham FC, and a post-ball drop surprise of sorts on January 1 at 12:04 a.m. ET.

What is it: If you prefer personalities and musicians posing as cowboys, CBS has you covered with a show dedicated to the annual Central Time Zone-focused Music Note Drop in Nashville, Tennessee. But don’t worry if you don’t want to give up on the East Coast entirely, because the Big Bash will also be stopping by the party regularly in New York City.

What is it: Dick Clark passed away more than a decade ago, but the live New Year’s Eve celebration that the popular television personality created in 1972 is still running in the capable hands of Ryan Seacrest, who has hosted the festivities since 2006. Seacrest’s co-hosts this year include: Rita Ora, Jeannie Mai and Dayanara Torres.
The prestige bestowed by the show’s namesake has produced a packed roster of talent in the past, and 2023 is no exception. What is it: CNN host Anderson Cooper and Bravo reality TV godfather Andy Cohen return as live hosts for the seventh consecutive season (and sometimes chaotic) Coverage of New Year’s Eve.
“There’s no one I’d rather spend New Year’s Eve with, and there’s nowhere I’d rather be than New York’s Times Square at midnight!” Cooper said in a CNN press release, lying through his perfect teeth.
Instead of remaining tethered to New York City, CNN’s show will also feature correspondents reporting from the Bahamas; Key West, Florida; Cruces, New Mexico; and Miami, Florida.
Enrique Iglesias, Maroon 5, the Jonas Brothers, Flo Rida, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Rod Stewart will hold the fort when it comes to musical performances, supported by interviews with Patti Labelle, Jeremy Renner, Neil Patrick Harris and Bowan Yang, and Matt Rogers, as well as a special appearance by magician David Blaine.

What is it: After an embarrassing attempt at mainstream cultural relevance carry out Fourteen days Dances For an unamused and rainy Times Square crowd in 2018, Ninja ditches the olds with a New Year’s Eve stream aimed solely at the Zoomer-filled audience of Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
“Put down your TV and come hang out with us!” says Ninja Silvester’s website. “It’ll be more fun…we promise.”
The live show, which is loudly sponsored by Domino’s Pizza, will feature Ninja and other Twitch personalities such as TimTheTatman, SypherPK, DrLupo, BasicallyIDoWrk and LEGIQN Fourteen days, OnePong, marbles and more with each other and with the spectators.

What is it: If the name and network hadn’t given it away: ¡Feliz 2024! is a New Year’s Eve broadcast from Univision, the largest Spanish-language television network in the United States.
Similar to other year-end shows, Univision will cover not only New York City, but also parties in Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida; and also Mexico.
