It’s that time once again for Rockstar Games to release another huge (and free) game. Grand Theft Auto Online To update. And this time the company has not only added an all-new chop shop store, but also drift racing, new cars and animals. Yes, it took a decade and three console generations, but finally GTA Online will let animals roam around the huge map.
Sure, sure, everyone is very excited about Rockstar’s next game, Grand Theft Auto VI. The first trailer for the long-awaited sequel already sent the internet into a frenzy earlier this month received over 130 million views. But don’t think Rockstar has forgotten GTA Online, it is a big money maker. The new update (released on PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox) may not be as exciting as a new one GTA Sequel, but it’s still a good reason to return to the outdated online crime sim, if only because you and some friends can now take a 180° shot of a deer and escape the law in the process.
Published December 12th, GTA OnlinePatch 1.68, better known as the Chop Shop update, is a major patch and adds 11 new cars, more than 300 clothing items, 32 new tattoos, birthday gifts, daily challenges and a large new 100-car garage for GTA+ subscribers. a completely new store, a long list of general improvements, bug fixes, a new rifleand even the ability to legally unlock and own police vehicles without using mods or hacks.

All in all, it’s another solid update for GTA Online This helps prevent it from feeling too old and creaking after a decade of use. It’s also a sign that Rockstar has no plans to let its most successful video game wither, at least for now. But with GTA 6 Comewe will see if anything changes by 2025.
