If you’ve been spending time online this weekend, you might have seen some news about Bloodborne Remastered Coming to PC and PS5 this August. The announcement came from what appeared to be a well-known entertainment and gaming news account by someone named Nibellionwho has been on Twitter since at least May 2012. But the message was totally fake and the account a Nibellion parodyhas led numerous fans to believe that FromSoftware and Sony are working on a remaster of bloodborne
Developed by FromSoftware and released for PS4 in March 2015, bloodborne is a gothic, Victorian-era inspired action RPG that took the world by storm. It hadn’t the same commercial success as elden ringbut bloodborne went on to garner high marks from critics for its tight gameplay, atmospheric soundtrack, intriguing world, and Lovecraftian themes. Basically, bloodborne was a hit with series fans, and people were dying to return to the world of Yharnam, even after it The old hunters
That has allowed fake Twitter account NIbellion to step in and start some bloodborne discourse with false news. May 30th, NIbellion – note the capital “I” here –tweeted that a remastered version of bloodborne coming this year. It would include “improvements” such as 60 FPS, native 4K resolution and ray-traced reflections, with Sony subsidiaries Bluepoint Games and Nixxes Software working together on the project.
I mean just look at the tweet above for a moment. I have already pointed out the misspelled name to indicate that this is fake news. However, if you look at the PlayStation blog link NIbellion shared alongside the announcement, you will see that it is an archive post from 2015. Clicking the link will take you to a blog about January 2015 bloodbornethe longevity. Even before we visited the PlayStation Blog, there were several indications that this NIbellion isn’t the Nibellion we’ve come to know as industry insiders.

However, since NIbellion looked like the real thing, people happily swallowed the untruth. Some said it was “the best news ever” while others used it disease memes for joking about being trolled. Not everyone fell for itWith some people warn others about it the message was fake. Even the real Nibellion stepped in to set the record straightsaying he has “none bloodborne news” for us.
The fake NIbellion coming online from a1 told my box via Twitter DMs he posed as Nibellion because his account is unverified and it’s easy to “pirate” his name as it’s full of lowercase i’s and l’s. a1 said he wasn’t trying to start a discourse. All he really wanted to do was “bait a few [his] Followers maybe a little more,” but the ruse took longer than expected. Nevertheless, said a1 bloodborne

“bloodborne is a game that gets a lot of talk about on Twitter,” said a1. “silent Hill, bloodborneand ‘GTA VI,’ and a few other games are almost trending or get an unfounded rumor almost like every month, so the choice was easy for me. bloodbornesince silent Hill I just got a rumor and I already have one GTA VI one, but bloodborne I didn’t, so I figured it’s going to be an easy choice.”
While a1 found the internet’s reaction to his tweet hilarious, he’s genuinely hoping for another one bloodborne is being worked on.
“Sure thing, who doesn’t want a sequel to one of the greatest games of the last generation,” said a1. “It was my first Fromsoftware game and I would like a sequel or even a remaster of the first one.”
As for the real Nibellion, he said my box via Twitter DMs that he likes to “keep a low profile” and has opted not to provide a more detailed answer. However, it appears on Twitter that he is at least a little annoyed via the fake account.
