In June, members of the popular gaming group FaZe Clan found themselves in hot water due to their involvement in an apparent pump-and-dump scheme with a charitable cryptocurrency called SaveTheKids. This resulted in FaZe suspending several members and starting one, a content creator named Kay. entirely from the group. Now he’s ready to set the record right and repay everyone.
Frazier “Kay” Khattri spent much of the last month out of the spotlight after being expelled from the FaZe clan. But in his latest video, “What Really Happened With SaveTheKids,” Kay blames much of the plan on his partner. notorious internet personality Sam Pepper, who claims that his own ignorance of the cryptocurrency space enabled him and his fan base to be exploited.
“I’ve been biting my tongue this month as we all gather evidence,” explains Kay during the opening of his video. “In a million years I would never intentionally or intentionally try to hurt, take advantage of, or cheat anyone. I’m not a crypto mastermind, okay? I’m literally a content creator and I’ve trusted the wrong people. And it led to this catastrophe in which I am stuck. “
Kay apologizes profusely and protests his innocence during the almost half-hour runtime of the video and claims that no one who was involved in SaveTheKids made any profit with the cryptocurrency, except Pepper. He also provides a screenshot of an alleged transaction which, he claims, shows the money it was reserved for Binance lunch for children
At the end of the video, Kay also provides a special email address for those who have shopped into the SaveTheKids cryptocurrency where they can contact him for a refund. He also says he plans to donate the ad revenue from the video along with whatever crypto he has left over.
“I’ve been in this field for 10 years and I’ve never been involved in any drama,” says Kay at the end of his video. “I think everyone who knows me knows this doesn’t reflect who I am. I lost a lot as a result. This experience was the greatest regret and reset of my entire life, and I want you to know that I will completely change my lifestyle in the future. “
