Final Fantasy 14 onlinethe upcoming enlargement, End converter, has been postponed by two weeks, as small optimizations have to be made for the final quality assurance.
Early Access starts now for players who pre-order Endwalker on December 3rd instead of November 19th, and the game will officially launch on December 7th instead of November 23rd. Due to this delay, Patch 6.01 can now be expected to be released on January 4, 2022 instead of December 21.
The game’s producer Naoki Yoshida announced the delay both in a post and at the beginning of Friday’s producer live stream letter.
“There are several reasons for the postponement, but since I am overseeing all aspects of the title as the project leader, the responsibility rests with me,” said Yoshida in a lodestone contribution. “Allow me to extend my sincere apologies to our players, our Warriors of Light around the world, who have looked forward to the release of Endwalker. I’m really sorry.”
Yoshida noticed that since End converter will be the greatest extension for Final Fantasy 14 online which has been published so far, he wanted to make sure that it hit the market in good condition. Also, since this expansion will end one of the game’s great sagas, he notes that he really wanted to live up to that and release it in a stable manner. (The game has seen a ton of new players over the past year, and server congestion was an issue.)
The livestream continued to discuss the content to be expected End converter, like adjustments to crafting and collecting, Viera gets more hairstyles (finally!) and new dungeons. You can a VOD of the stream on YouTube.
