The first Fire Emblem game released outside of Japan. fire sign for the Game Boy Advance will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online expansion pack tier next week, June 23rd.
Also known as Fire Emblem: The Flaming BladeThe 2003 game was actually the seventh installment in the tactical RPG series. Nintendo decided to localize it for an international release after having great success with 2001 in bringing developer Intelligent Systems’ other great strategy series to a worldwide audience advance wars.
The Flaming Blade was the debut of the popular character Lyn, appearing in the latest release Fire Emblem Engage as an emblem of flame. Like all Fire Emblem games before 2012 Fire Emblem Awakening, it features a character permadeath that cannot be disabled; As the press release states, “When your soldiers meet their end in this Fire Emblem game, they’re gone forever.”
Nintendo is continuously working on the list of games that will supposedly be included in the Game Boy Advance collection for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers when the library was added to the service in February. We had Metroide Fusion already; that are yet to come Golden Sun, F-zero maximum speedAnd Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.
