It has been more than 10 years since mobile games Flappy Bird went from an unknown mobile game to a viral hit and eventually an albatross for its creator Dong Nguyen. Since then, other developers looking to capitalize on the game’s success have created hundreds of clones. Later that year Flappy Bird will officially return under new ownership.
We can thank the Flappy Bird Foundation, which describes itself as “a new team of passionate fans who want to share the game with the world,” for the return of Nguyen’s Flappy Bird
The new Flappy Bird will be released this fall on several yet-to-be-announced platforms, with Android and iOS versions planned for 2025. According to an earlier version of the project Linktree
Unlike the original, which was a simple, straightforward game that required high scores and quick reflexes, Flappy Bird
