I mean, there is no other I used it.
If you are a fan Disney parks for a while, you may remember the original Discovery Island. The small island in Bay Lake, Florida, was originally a Disney attraction called Treasure Island, later renamed Discovery Island, a small Disney-run zoo Walt Disney WorldProperty Discovery Island lasted until 1999, when it was closed, possibly due to the high cost of repairs and poor attendance. Since then, Disney has done nothing good with the island, which continues to attract old (sans animals).
Until the covid-19 epidemic, which left the entire Walt Disney World near the island equally neglected, and as a result made the island a great place to explore. And as reported A Hollywood reporter, this is exactly what happened when a 42-year-old man was found living alone and his dreams on a tropical paradise. When police located the man, Richard McGuire, on Thursday, he was reported to have been there since Monday or Tuesday, with the intention of staying for a week.
According to police, the man reported that he did not know the island was, in fact, a previously forbidden, privately owned Disney property. "Richard said he didn't know that and that it looked like a tropical paradise." When police found McGuire, they used the public address system to inform McGuire that he would have to leave, but he did. So the police arrested him.
It seems he had a wonderful time on the island, or; according to a Disney security agent, he was spotted using one of the Disney boats.
According to THR, there were no McGuire representatives available for comment.
Understandable, really: why not just live in these difficult times in a tropical paradise, especially with the built-in amenities and luxury of the former amusement park? Just make sure it is not already the world's largest company.
