I ended 2023 playing Fourteen days. And I just kept going. We’re almost 10 days into 2024 and I’ve only played one game so far: Fourteen days. I almost played a few Destiny 2 At some point the servers were broken. I then almost played something on my phone, but it needed an update. I tried another game, but while I was ready to play, my brother’s game needed a major update. So I crawled back Fourteen days. I was so stupid for even trying to play anything else.
The reality is that my job requires me to play at some point something different. I’m not entirely sure what that will be. That is new Prince of Persia The game looks neat. Maybe I’ll play this and take a break Fourteen days.
But I know that sooner or later the siren call will sound Fourteen days will lure me back. You may be asking yourself, “Hey, why are you so into this game?” That’s a fair question. What about Epic’s digital menagerie of franchises, IPs and celebrities that clicked with my brain and created a connection stronger than superglue?
Well, it’s not a specific thing. But it is also like that. Let me explain something:
Fourteen days didn’t convince me just because it offers so much – even though all the content is helpful. It’s very cool that I can drive super fast in the new one Rocket race Game developed by Rocket League Developer Pythonix. It’s also great that I get to play one of the best Lego games of all time, Lego Fornite, in Epic’s digital toy box. And it’s super nice that I can load Fortnite Festival– a rhythm game by Rock band Studio Harmonix – and play songs there and get high scores Fourteen days. And all of this also supports cross-platform multiplayer and progression.
Oh, and let’s not forget the hugely popular battle royale mode within Fourteen days. Do you know what exactly contributed to it reaching the top of the most played games list in the first place? This mode is still present alongside the PvE Horde mode save the worldand thousands of user-created creations and maps.
But none of that is why I keep playing Fourteen days Day after day. What keeps me coming back is the fact that all of this is available every night. without updates, patches or client fixes. There are no major expansions or new games to install; No management of space on my hard drive while trying to squeeze another big game onto my SSD.
Instead, everyone Fourteen daysThe wonderful toy box from is on my Xbox or PC and is ready to use at the touch of a button. Secure, Fourteen days itself is updated from time to time. But they are not common and come with numerous warnings. And once this one update is complete, all of them Fourteen days is ready to go. Every community map, every user-created game, every official mode and every battle royale variant. An update essentially takes care of an entire library of games and experiences. Efficient!
In 2024, what Fourteen days offers something almost no other major game can: near-instant access to whatever damn video game you want to play. It’s strange to realize this, but I just can’t rely on that anymore. (And yes, I know the consoles are allegedly to update automatically, but that’s not foolproof, and even if it works, new games will still take some time to install.)
Most evenings I only have two or three hours at most to play a few games. And with Fourteen daysAt least 99 percent of the time, the huge game collection is ready for me. No waiting time. No trouble. No updates. And I have to say, that’s a pretty strong argument for picking it over most other games.
