Fortnite Crew, the popular shooter’s premium monthly subscription, now offers players premium rewards on all future passes – Battle and otherwise – as Epic continues to optimize the game’s rewards and leveling systems. The publisher also announced a small price increase for those who prefer to purchase each Battle Pass à la carte with each new season.
Introduced in 2020, Fortnites Crew Membership is a $12 monthly subscription that gives players each season’s Premium Battle Pass, exclusive new cosmetic items, 1,000 V-Bucks, etc Rocket League
On November 20th, Epic announced that starting December 1st, Fortnite Crew members also receive the Premium Music Pass and Premium Lego Pass in addition to all previously included benefits. Epic also announced the upcoming return of Fortnite AND will include its own Battle Pass, and yes, the premium version of this pass will be included in it Fortnites
Epic says in its blog post: “As soon as new passes arrive “Fortnite” They will be added to your account as long as you are an active Crew subscriber. My city reached out to Epic to see if this includes mini passes that are sometimes included at major events, how when star Wars appears or Dragon Ball Z Characters are added to the game.
In other news, Epic confirmed that the price of the Battle Royale Battle Pass will be slightly increased. Starting December 1st, the price of the Premium Pass will increase from 950 V-Bucks to 1000 V-Bucks. Meanwhile, the 25-tier Battle Pass reward pack will now be available for 1,800 V-Bucks (was 1,850). And the real money price of Fornite’s The game currency does not increase. So it’s not all bad news!
This is just the latest move by Epic to try to streamline and simplify that Fortnite Economy and battle pass system. Epic announced in October that in the future all XP will increase the level of all Battle Passes, regardless of which mode you play in Fortnite. The publisher is removing Battle Stars, a currency earned every season and also used to unlock rewards.
