foxhole is A top-down shooter where players can take on different roles in massive battles, one of those roles is logistics, which involves crafting the weapons used in combat. A group of those players are currently on strike, saying, “We believe Foxhole shouldn’t have a gaming experience that frustrates its players like this.”

Whole others are running around the battlefield shooting at each other, foxhole The entire war effort depends on the work of logisticians who must collect resources, craft items, and then transport them to the front lines. Without them there are no supplies, and without supplies there is no war.

It’s an interesting, if thankless job at best, but recent changes have changed that foxhole made the job considerably more difficult. This is usually when players complain on forum posts or social media and to be sure this is what happened here, but as collective logistics players they have also done something much more drastic in recognizing the importance they are for the game and strike.

As NME reported first, a group calling itself the Logistics Organization for General Improvement, or LOGI published an open letter earlier this month, in which he said “our frustration has begun to eclipse our patience,” and giving developers until January 10 to “provide concrete and detailed feedback…on the feasibility of implementing solutions in terms to these concerns”.

When that wasn’t imminent, the group – made up of around 1800 players, both experienced and new – decided to do it Strike action, although it should be noted that not all who signed the letter or who joined the group’s discord have taken part so far.

While LOGI doesn’t embrace every skilled logistics player in the game, and doesn’t prevent other players from temporarily jumping into roles to keep supply lines running, it does have some impact on battles, with some frontline troops forced to fight others with nothing as pistols.

At the time of publication foxhole Developers Siege Camp have yet to respond to the group’s requests. Below is the full length of the open letter:

Dear siege camp,

We, The Undersigned, represent Foxhole’s logistical player base, ranging from seasoned veterans to passionate newcomers who just arrived with Update 0.46. All of us, both Colonial and Warden members, are devoted to Foxhole and believe that the current state of logistics has become a threat to the overall health of the game.

The cumulative impact of changes made to other systems within Foxhole has increased the stress and responsibility placed on the logistics player base. We believe that Foxhole shouldn’t have a gaming experience that frustrates its players like this.

Using feedback from our members, we’ve identified the most damaging issues to the logistics experience.

  1. Brewing times from public stocks/refineries are too long.
  2. Acquiring early game components is overly difficult, competitive, and toxic.
  3. The holding time for factory orders is too short.
  4. Production buildings require a regiment queue.
  5. Containers don’t allow closed-loop logistics.
  6. Lack of centerline logistics facilities.
  7. Unpacking materials from inventory can be extremely tedious due to the fact that stacks do not easily merge.
  8. Salvage from an entire freighter cannot be processed into base materials.
  9. The crate limits in the reserve stocks are too low.
  10. Blizzards should not occur on the first day of a war.
  11. Three unstucks per war is not enough.

Our delegates will further discuss these topics at the first PressCorps Roundtable to be published after this writing, but we continue to investigate other topics that are detrimental to the overall logistics player experience.

The explosive growth of our organization has shown that these issues are recognized by a significant portion of this community. Our frustration has begun to eclipse our patience. While this list does not include all of the issues we have addressed, we consider these to be the most pressing and believe that only by addressing the above issues in a timely manner can logistics player churn be reduced.

We ask that developers provide specific and detailed feedback to January 10, 2022 on the feasibility of solutions to these concerns.

We have no desire to upset the balance of the game, nor do we intend to make the game less addicting or fun for anyone. Our goals are a healthy dialogue between the developers and our community, increased player retention and an improved gaming experience.

On behalf of our members,
Logistics Organization for General Improvements (LOGI)
