The series hasn’t even been released in the US yet, however Pokemon Anime fans are already adopting Fuecoco as their favorite son. Sprigatto and Quaxly who?
The Week of the Games: Return to Hyrule
Pokémon Horizons: The Series Is the latest iteration of Pokemon Anime based on the original series recently ended its 25th anniversary. Horizons, which premiered in Japan in mid-April, follows the adventures of the trainers named Liko and Roy, who will replace Ash Ketchum as co-protagonists. While Liko has bonded with the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatto, the Fire Crocodile seems to be constantly bonded to Roy. The goofy gimmicks they put up remind me a lot of how Pikachu would set the light-hearted tone in the original anime.
Fans share their favorite Fuecoco clips on social media platforms like TikTok and Twitter. While it’s exciting to finally see Paldea’s fiery starter Pokémon in all its fully animated glory, there’s more to Fuecoco here than just its adorable looks. It turns out that the fire type Mon can sing. Or rather, he makes a funky trilling noise while loitering awkwardly. That’s enough for most of his fans. People are becoming incredibly protective of Fuecoco.
fans on tick tock even declared Fuecoco to be their “son”. Video He expressed his pain that an enemy Pokémon had apparently “slapped” the fire starter in the face. sorry to say Pokemon is an anime about making your pets fight each other. We’ll likely see a lot more injured Fuecoco before she evolves into a Crocalor. For now, enjoy his goofy little antics.
It’s not just Fuecoco’s singing prowess that charms fans. The fire starter has the disposition of a small child. Watch as he throws his chesto berry into the sea and then cries over it. Damn, that’s understandable. I, too, dropped my snacks on the floor and then am heartbroken about it.
Fuecoco is actually good. Just look at him. You can’t possibly resist the charm of this sleeping face. Pikachu left huge footprints, but Fuecoco is carving out his own niche among the lovable Pokemon Mascot.
