Game Pass title Flintlock The Siege Of Dawn is coming in 2024

Soulslike fans are excited to get their hands on it Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Treader about Xbox Game Pass, needs to look much further into the future. The next game from the developers of 2018 Ashen has now been pushed back a full year from its previous release date of “early 2023” to an even more unclear “2024”.

Announcing the news on Twitterdevelopers A44 explained things in text that is pretty much standard text for such delays. “Close flintlock In order to provide the absolute best experience possible at release, we have decided to push the game’s release date to 2024.”

They continue in a thread to say all known beats. “We worked hard to make it…”; “It’s important for our entire team…”; “The most amazing and unforgettable game it can be.” And who can blame them?

Such delays are how my city can not repeat enough, a good thing. It’s a shame to have to wait that much longer for a game you’re looking forward to, but it’s always better to have something, you know, finished than rushed, buggy, and unsatisfying. And can you imagine releasing an incomplete game to a scarier and incessantly whining audience than Soulslike fans? (Loving You.)

Ashen sparked its own controversy upon its release in 2018 as part of the first wave of games tied exclusively to the Epic Games Store. Five years later, the Epic Games Store is still terribly awful software, but people are perhaps less overtly red-hot with deafening anger when a developer accepts the huge wads of cash that Epic is offering. (It’s often the difference between being allowed to play another game or splitting up and going your separate ways.) Certainly flintlock will be released simultaneously on Xbox Game Pass, PlayStations and Steam And on the Epic Games Store.

flintlock is a game about slaying gods with the power of magic and gunpowder, an action role-playing game set in the fantastic City of Dawn. While a new release date as ambiguous as ‘2024’ doesn’t exactly fit the calendar, the footage we’ve already seen is very promising. We hope to see the game next year.
