GameStop has deployed dozens of regional managers, sources tell Polygon, as part of a cost-cutting exercise that manages the center. According to multiple sources, the company recently cut down 10 district managers, whose job it was to manage multiple stores and to manage store managers. The decline could mean more work for the GameStop soft workers.

The move comes at a time when GameStop has suffered its lowest stock price in years. Stock currently trading with revenues above $ 3.50, down from $ 11.70 last year. As recently as five years ago, the GameStop store sold comfortably in the $ 40- $ 50 range.
