Even though gloriole Players are currently enjoying an early look at Infinite Multiplayer ahead of the campaign’s start on December 8th, one of the community’s biggest complaints concerns the lack of playlists in the first-person shooter. But that should change very soon. Like “before next year” soon.
“We’ve read your feedback and are working on plans to add Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All Playlists as we speak,” said John Junyszek, 343 Industries community manager Announced this afternoon on Twitter
At the moment it is Halo infinite Multiplayer playlists include Quick Play (a mix of different four-on-four game modes), Leaderboards (for extremely serious, no-radar competitions), Big Team Battle (massive 12-on-12 battles), and Bot Arena (people vs. CPUs), far removed from the offerings of previous games. For example, if you only want to play capture-the-flag matches, this is not currently an option in the playlist system.
This also poses a problem for gamers looking to complete their challenges as they have no control over which games you play. Getting a challenge that requires certain modes is especially annoying right now, although it’s about to change.
Junyszek stated that the developers plan to use special events to test out new game modes before throwing them into playlists.
343 Industries is also reportedly working on a social slayer playlist that was released in 2007 Halo 3 has thrown together peripheral, team-based modes like Team Slayer, Team Rockets, and more, but that won’t be ready until next year.

“This is just the beginning of the conversation with all of you,” added Junyszek. “We hope you can understand and enjoy this [playlists] who make it before the team takes a well-deserved break! “
Halo infinite player previously expressed concerns via the Multiplayer Battle Pass due to its (well) slow, unrewarded course. 343 Industries has addressed these issues by greatly increased XP gain, a quick response that earned the studio a great deal of goodwill from the community. Let’s just hope that the upcoming playlist updates keep the notoriously fickle fan base of the series from causing too much grief to the developers while they try to enjoy the holidays.
