The Blasphemous franchise is a true labor of love from Spanish developers The Game Kitchen. Both installments are brutal, pixelated Metroidvanias inspired by the works of surrealist painter Hieronymus Bosch. A bloodthirsty platformer that will absolutely freak you out if you’re unprepared. Narita Boy is a neon-colored platformer about a boy who gets sucked into a video game with an absolutely amazing soundtrack. The perfect title to pass the time Hyperlight Drifter Fans while waiting for the inevitable launch of Hyper-Lightbreaker, Narita Boy is currently discounted to its lowest price ever at GOG, just $2.49 (was $24.99).
If you are looking for a modern analogue to the classic supernatural FPS FEAR look no further than Trepange2.
