3,811 days later Grand Theft Auto Online‘s 2013 releaseplayers can finally officially drive the game’s indestructible train. And this is only possible in a specific mission GTA OnlineThe latest update is still a cool moment for many players.
On March 7, Rockstar Games released the latest free update for its never-ending online crime sim. GTA Online. This new update, The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid, features narrative ties to previous expansions and heists, allowing players to take on corrupt cops and a drug cartel in a multi-mission experience that can be played alone or with up to three friends. One of the steps to dismantle the cartel and the corrupt police GTA Online Players finally get the chance to steal and drive the train.
The train is later used to secretly transport the player and his cohorts via packing crates to the Cluckin’ Bell factory where the cartel operates. Even though you only get to ride it once, it was still exciting to finally take control of the train after a decade GTA Online.
Previously there was no use of mods or glitches just a moment in the single player campaign from Grand Theft Auto V when you had the chance to ride a train. Since then, people have always wanted Rockstar to update the game to add train driving in an open world GTA V and/or its online multiplayer spin-off, GTA Online. And to be clear, this new update still doesn’t offer train driving in an open world or the ability to randomly land on a locomotive and take control. But it has Let players finally take control of the unstoppable train that has spent the last decade GTA Online Destroy players who I dared to stop it or didn’t realize it was coming.
Of course, some players are curious if Rockstar would ever be willing to add rail riding GTA Online as a permanent open world feature. This update seems to imply that could would be possible, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. Instead, ferroequinologists will have to wait for the publication of Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2025, a chance at a wheeled train that exists outside of just one or two specific missions. Or just recharge GTA San Andreas on PS2 and relive the fun of driving these trains, speeding and flying off the tracks.
