The end of the year is here, that is Pokémon Go concludes another event with a huge Community Day weekend event. The Community weekend 2023 The event will cover all of Pokémon featured at Community Days throughout the year, and you’ll even have a chance to grab some Pokémon from 2022.
The event takes place on On December 16th and 17th, most perks are active from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. your local time. There are some other benefits, such as special trades or evolving to get special moves that occur outside of this event period (which we explain below).
If you love collecting shiny Pokémon and have previously missed one of these Community Days, this is your chance. It’s also a great opportunity to grab powerful Pokémon like Conkeldurr or Blastoise.
The featured Community Day Pokémon of the entire year is divided into two days. All Pokémon featured in a 2023 Community Day Classic will appear both days, but less common. In the meantime, Pokémon will also appear for Community Day 2022 Eggs and raids
Pokémon appear on Community Day on Saturday
The following will appear on Saturday, December 16, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.:

As these Pokémon evolve from 9am on December 16th to 9pm on December 17th, they will learn a special move (with Ursaluna being a special exception):

Note that Ursaring only evolves during a special full moonwhich Niantic said will occur on December 16th at 2pm until December 17th at 6am. The moon will also appear on December 17th from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Bonuses and discounts for Community Day in December
The following bonuses are active on both days from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
- Catch XP doubled
- Catch Stardust has been doubled
- Double catch candies (XL included)
- The hatching distance for eggs placed in incubators during the above time was halved
- The duration of the bait is three hours
- Incense sticks are enough for three houses
From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both days you also have the opportunity to carry out two special transactions per day. Additionally, Stardust trading costs will be halved.
