Today Bandai Namco has a new one Gundam mobile suit Game. It’s called Gundam evolutionbut honestly Gundam Overwatch would have been better.
Of course, Bandai Namco can’t call it that, because Overwatch belongs to Blizzard. But Gundam evolution definitely looks like this Gundam meets Overwatchbecause the game’s developers look like big fans of the game.
Check out the debut trailer below:
Well what do you think
According to Game Watch legal notice, the game is a first-person Shooter, but with the franchise’s signature mobile suit. It will have six versus six online games and will use Gundam’s boost system. The game should be a lot of fun.
So much about Gundam: evolution looks like Overwatch. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, and it’s interesting to see Gundam go in different directions, even if the influences are obvious and obvious. (In case you missed it, read Kotaku‘s Overwatch review exactly here.)
Last month, Kotaku reported that Bandai Namco had a number of big plans for Gundam, including developing a new game for the sport. You have to ask yourself, is that the game? At the time, Bandai teased Namco that a new game was “coming soon”. Thats soon!
Gundam: evolution can be played for free and is bound for the PC. It is planned to be introduced in different regions of the world. A close beta test will begin next month before the service begins.
Starting today, the game in Japan begins with registrations for the closed beta test with the aim of engaging 5,000 players. Further information can be found on the restarted official site for Japanese people interested in participating. At the time of writing there is no specific information as to where exactly the game starts. Expect more details in the coming weeks and months.
