Beta Testing Halo: Combat Changed Reminder on PC will start next month, 343 Industries said a message at a forum on Friday. A beta test is coming shortly thereafter, and requires an invitation to participate.
Although there is no formal registration, 343 developers have provided steps for players interested in participating: Have a Halo Insider profile up to date with verified email; opt in to 343 to contact you; opt into PC flight (343 times to get beta) and your latest DXDIAG is uploaded to your profile.
This "flight" will be limited content that covers many areas of the game, 343 said. This studio wants to test the pe-peer player interaction between Steam and Windows 10 players, the new customization interface, and dedicated server authentication.
On PC, 343 Industries made all games for Halo: Collection of the Great King piecemeal. The chronology continues, the narrative begins with Halo: Reach in December. Next Halo: Combat Appears at Memorial, no release date has been announced yet. The Xbox One already has all six games – four Heroes listed, as well Reach and Halo 3: ODST – on the returned form.
