Hell’s Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay had no idea what Twitch was

If you spend time online, you probably know or have used the live streaming platform Twitch. That doesn’t apply to everyone, however, as popular TV chef Gordon Ramsay had no idea what Twitch is when commenting on a recent episode of his new show Next level cook are to be believed

On the first episode of the show, which aired on Fox January 2, Ramsay asked streamer and professionally trained chef Tricia “Triciaisabirdy” Wang what she does for a living. After shyly admitting that she is “streaming on Twitch” [her] Cook, cook, ”Ramsay just got up to ask a specific question:“ What the hell is Twitch? ”One candidate thought it was hilarious. It was!

The moment went viral, of course, to the point where Ramsay changed his Twitter biography to reflect his lack of understanding of Twitch. He himself tweeted on the official Twitch accountto ask for a “lesson” about the platform. And in droves, popular streamers, including xQc, have offered to teach Ramsay.

The funny thing about this whole thing is that several people are mentioned in Ramsay’s, such as Hasan “HasanAbi” pickerto admit something watch Ramsay on Twitch every day. According to Twitch Observer Zach BusseyHis “most top streamers” also stream his shows, which makes the TV chef incredibly popular on the platform. Who knows, he might even start his own Twitch channel now.
