destiny 2‘s latest expansion, incidence of light, is almost a month away, and that means it’s time for Bungie to show off some of the loot for players to look forward to. In the game’s latest trailer, players get their first look at some of the new weapons and armor in the expansion, as well as some Exotics and their effects.
The trailer mainly focuses on The Strand and Exotics rel ated to this new and mysterious power. There is both armor and weapons associated with Strand powers, as well as so-called entanglements that allow players to “use strand to weave objects and creatures, or for other purposes tied to weapons.”
Alongside these new Strand Exotics, the trailer also features the Quicksilver Storm catalyst upgrade, which allows the Exotic Auto Rifle’s grenade kills to create Strand tangles that can be thrown at enemies. Quicksilver is available for all shifts that are pre-ordered incidence of lightto be released on February 28th.

- Last warning – This Strand Sidearm shoots tracking missiles that seek out nearby enemies.
- Deterministic Chaos – A Void machine gun that rhythmically weakens enemies when fired.
- winter bite – An exotic stasis glaive that freezes enemies with frost balls on impact, making them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
- Cyrtarachne’s facade – This exotic helm provides additional protection as hunters gain armor and resistance to flinching while grappling.
- Floating Jump – When Titans use their barricade with this exotic leg armor, it will spawn in search of projectiles that will slow down enemies and grant armor to its wearer.
- fanatic – This new exotic leg armor allows warlocks to create a threadling to infest and attack enemies after destroying a tangle.
