It turns out, The Indigo Disc has a secret ending that the game doesn’t really lead you to in any meaningful way. While I still stand by that initial criticism, the discovery of this new ending does a lot to make the DLC a better fit for me in terms of its place Scarlet fever And Violetis the overarching story.
We don’t want to reveal directly what happens in the hidden ending; I’m just here to point you in the right direction. So if you’re worried about finding out what happens in the secret ending or even the main ending of the DLC, rest assured. Read on for trigger instructions.
The Indigo slice has an initial ending that concludes the main story, complete with credits. Once you complete this ending, From here, return to Kitakami’s Crystal Pool Teal mask DLC. The secret ending will automatically unfold as you approach the water behind the bridge where you spawn during fast travel, and you will be pushed back to the title screen. Again, no spoilers here, but I was really glad a scene like this was included as it filled in some gaps that were left Scarlet fever And Violetends without tearing down what made it so effective. If you’re at all interested in the big lore questions these games end up raising, it’s worth looking for the secret ending to wrap everything up with a nice little bow.
