At BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard has announced Torghast, Tower of the Damned as one of the The World of War: ShileswoodNew features of the new endgame. Now available for review on Shadowlands alpha. Here's how it works, and the rewards you can get by competing.
Blizzard said last week that Torghast is inspired by roguelikes – similar games Hades and Dead Cells, where each run has failed to reward you with the knowledge and skill that helps in your next attempt. Unlike culture The World of War in the dungeon, Torghast has levels set by the enemy's forced melting. At the bottom it begins to stretch, and eventually into growing wings with traps, closed doors, and puzzles.
But getting into Torghast takes more than your average skills. When you climb the tower, you can find Anima Powers. These skills apply only to Torghast for your current performance, and can change your style of playing basically. You can also collect a new service called Phantasma, which you can use on the Shackled Broker of Things or the new Anima Powers.
Anima Powers itself affects all kinds of things. One can increase your movement speed, while another can disable the stat. But depending on the Agreement you are committed to, you will have access to different types of Anima Powers. Each class also has different options.
You can earn Anima Powers by completing the bonus objectives, getting them hidden by levels, and many other modes. You can check a complete list of capabilities on WoWHead.
In contrast Land of WarsIn other endgame dungeon operations, Mythic + mines, Torghast is timeless. Instead, you have a limited number of lives before your run ends. Once you have died a few times, a large, invisible boss called Tarragrue will appear at the door of your nearest floor, and will gradually enter the exit door. If Tarragrue looks at you, it will chase you and kill you with one strike. But if you reach the end of the current floor before the Tarragrue does, you'll run to the next floor.
Successfully climbing the stairs of Torghast will eventually bring you the famous chest. Here you can pick up the powerful sights you can take in Torghast and the powerful boats you love.
To interview with Twitch streamer Towellee, great game designer Paul Kubit reveals more details around how Torghast will actually work inside Shadowlands. Players will need to press the keys to reach Torghast, and the rewards will not be the same after you've collected a set amount during the week.
The purpose of the pit is not to supply the gear to equip it, but to try to get rid of the gear of your gear. According to Kubit, you can also run on some popular ones The World of War souls in these dimensions.
Torghast is an important part of Shadowlands endgame, and something you should be able to reach shortly after reaching max level. Kubit also told Toowee that Torghast would remain an important factor in Shadowlands, and that the group plans to add new floors and features as an age of expansion.
