People like to complain about how long Call of duty Most campaigns never finish and instead just play the multiplayer deathmatch meat grinder. Even so, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 promises a series of story-driven missions that should last longer than both Cold War And Modern Warfare IIIBoth featured some of the shortest campaigns in the entire franchise.
Earlier this year, Treyarch developer Yale Miller told Game file The Black Ops 6 Campaign would be as long as a “classic” Call of dutywhich suggests it would take around six to eight hours in total. Co-developer Raven Software recently doubled down on that assessment, promising fans it would take longer Cold WarThe campaign only lasted five hours.
“So I think the game length will vary from player to player, but even if you try to do the speed run version of it, it will be longer.” Cold War“, Deputy Creative Director Jon Zuk told IGN
Call of Duty campaigns have in the past an average of six to seven hoursbut the Black Ops Spin-offs achieved much more on average at their peak. Black Ops 3 was about nine hours to beat Black Ops 4 has abandoned a traditional campaign altogether, much to the chagrin of some players. Another way Black Ops 6 is breaking with the recent past by abandoning early access for its campaign. Instead, the story missions will go live for everyone at the same time when they launch on October 25th at 12:01 a.m. ET. The game will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate, but from Microsoft recently disabled the $1 trial for new subscribers.
