If you try to finish your own Crossing the Animals: New Horizons Critterpedia on switch, you'll have to let Turnips rot to see some ants.
The only way to find ants is to use Spoiled Turnips. The week after you bought your Turnips from Daisy Mae, they were bad. Throw them to the ground outside and the ants will be full of rotation. You can catch this with your Net.
To get Turnips, you'll have to buy them from baby boar baby, Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae only appears on Sundays before lunch, so be sure to grab something from her. You don't have to use a full stack of 100 to lure ants, but you will have to spend 10 of them, because they are no different.
The ants don't look trash or anything like that, and photos of the critter show them removing Turnip equipment, as the ants do. (All.)
