George Carlin famously said, “A house is just a pile of stuff with a blanket on top.” At its core, Lego Fourteen days is the same. eposThe new collaboration with Lego has been an absolute phenomenon since its launch on December 7th, peaking at around 2 million daily concurrent players. Like everything is good sandbox Survival games are about the need to collect, store and organize tons of things. But not all things are equal. Some materials such as wood and granite are readily available. Other things are harder to find. This guide addresses the latter and gives you insight into where to find hard-to-find materials like knotty root, flexwood, and more.
But first, the biomes
Understanding where to find things Lego Fortnite means recognizing the different biomes on the map. There are four biomes to explore: Grassland, Shore, Dry Valley, Frostland. Grassland is where you start the game. You’ll find lush, open prairies, pleasant temperatures, abundant resources, and weak enemies. Shores are beach areas along bodies of water. They aren’t as packed with resources, but are a good place to find brutes and brute scales.
Dry Valley is your desert biome. Temperature is a factor here, and you won’t be able to explore the area for long unless you’ve made snowberry shakes or cool-headed amulets to help you beat the heat. Dry Valley biomes can also be difficult to find. The best method is to go high up, either onto nearby cliffs or by building countless staircases, and look around for large brown patches of desert. Since each map is created from a different seed, each map is different, so there is no fixed location for the biomes. You just have to keep exploring!
Frostlands are, as you might expect, the snow-covered biomes. Like Dry Valley, you need to prepare for extreme temperatures. You’ll need to craft some spicy burgers or inner fire spells to withstand the cold. A torch in your hand won’t help you here. It’s also unlikely that you’ll be able to reach a Frostland biome on foot. These are usually located at the very edges of the map and the easiest way to scout and access them is to upgrade them a hot air balloon.
Now that you know a little about what the world of Lego Fortnite looks like, here’s a rundown of where to find some of the most in-demand materials.
Where to find fertilizers Lego Fortnite
If I can call Carlin again, sometimes it sucks. In Lego Fortnite, Fertilizer is a key component in the early game to get your farms going. Find it on the ground wherever animals congregate. Hold down the collect button while walking around and things will be collected automatically.
Where to Find Knotroot Lego Fortnite
Knotroot is one of the easiest things to find. Let me explain. It’s one of the earliest resources you’ll encounter that isn’t just lying on the ground. However, since it is in the grasslands, it is not far from your starting point. Just explore until you find a cave and you will come across these twisted tufts of vines on the walls inside.
Where to find marble Lego Fortnite
Marble is scattered throughout the caves in the Grassland biome. Once you find it for the first time, you’ll likely have to backtrack to get it, as harvesting it requires an upgraded pickaxe. One of these can only be made with Knotroot.
Where to Find Flexwood Lego Fortnite
Flexwood are the trees of the desert. Once you find a Dry Valley biome, Flexwood will likely be the first resource you come across. Who among us can resist cutting down a giant cactus? However, make sure you have upgraded your ax before you get started.
Where to Find Raw Amber and Cut Amber Lego Fortnite
Rough amber shimmers in small tufts on the cliffs and rocks of the Dry Valley. After harvesting, you can turn it into polished amber using a gem cutter. You’ll also need an upgraded pickaxe to harvest it.
Where to Find Obsidian Lego Fortnite
While you are Lawrence of Arabia– If you are in the Dry Valley biome, be sure to do some cave diving too. Obsidian can be found throughout the cave systems. It has a purple glow that is easy to see under flashlight.
Where to find Brightcore Lego Fortnite
Another underground gem (literally), Brightcore can be harvested from caves in the Dry Valley biome. Its bright orange glow is hard to miss.
Where to find copper Lego Fortnite
Copper is found in Dry Valley caves, although not as common as Obsidian and Brightcore. Like Brightcore, it has a yellow-orange shimmer, but the telltale blue-green copper patina runs through its veins.
Where to Find Sandclaw Lego Fortnite
You must go in search of this resource. Sand Claws are obtained by defeating Sand Wolves, which occur naturally in the sand. You will encounter them in both the Dry Valley and Shores biomes.
Where to Find Malachite Lego Fortnite
This rare resource is easy to spot but difficult to find. Its brilliant emerald glow stands out on the white, windswept peaks of the Frostland biome. Getting there will be quite challenging, making this a resource for players later in the game.
