Lightsabers have been added to Lego Fortnite with the new Star Wars theme Rebel adventure. Unfortunately, they aren’t craftable, so the short answer is that you get a lightsaber as a gift from Captain Bravara. The longer answer is that to do this you will need to upgrade a rebel outpost, and that will take a bit of work.

Where to find a rebel outpost in Lego Fortnite?

Shortly after watching an Imperial Star Destroyer invade your Lego Fortnite world, you will meet Captain Schlosser.

Talk to her and she will give you a pair Macro binoculars. Use this to find your way to a cave that will lead you there Rebel outpost – You are looking for a blue rebel symbol (it will be the only thing that appears on your new macro binoculars).
How to upgrade a Rebel Outpost in Lego Fortnite

Once you reach the rebel outpost, speak to Captain Bravara again. It will guide you through the next steps you need to take.
Ultimately, you’ll need to upgrade the Rebel Outpost to level 6 and improve its comfort level over time. You need to do the following:
- Level 2: Clear the designated property of all debrisbuild this Rebel Farmbuild 3 bedsand collect 5 pumpkins
- Level 3: Place a craft bench and crafts 3 short swords
- Level 4: Clear the area for the stablebuild this Rebel stablesput a bed for Grrraaalfand place at least one barn
- Level 5: Defeat 10 stormtroopers and collect 20 plastoids (Fortunately, Stormtroopers drop Plastoid when you kill them)
- Level 6: Clear the area for the workshopbuild this Rebel workshopput a bed for Myrnna, and place a Rebel workbench

Once you get the Rebel Outpost to level 6, Captain Bravara will throw one at you lightsaber. Lightsabers don’t break in Lego Fortnite, but they do need to be charged for around 10 minutes as you use up their energy.

The other thing Captain Bravara gives you when you level the Rebel Outpost to level 6 is: Clearnace codes for Imperial bunker (which are basically just caves). Use your macro binoculars to find them, then go inside (a lightsaber will also only destroy the bunker doors).

Inside you’ll find three areas separated by red radiation shields. You have to defeat a wave of stormtroopers in each area before you can move on to the next – the third area has it particularly bad too AWR soldier (aka Death Trooper).

Once all three waves are defeated, a final beam shield will open, leading you to a room with several chests. One of them – the larger, glowing Star Wars-esque one – will contain something new along with some loot lightsaber.
