One of the joys of the original Final Fantasy VII is about unlocking all players’ limit breaks and finding all of their weapons. But one character has to collect all of her best things before leaving the party for good, namely our beloved flower girl Aerith (or Aeris if we’re talking about the original game here).

You can acquire Aerith’s ultimate limit breaks and weapons fairly early in the game (certainly before most other characters). So let’s see when she leaves you for good and where we can find all her things.
Aerith’s point of no return
So you know Aerith is going to die. Of course, you have to go through everything listed in this guide Before She meets her fate. Aerith leaves the party after the Temple of the Ancients sequence, so make sure you complete all of her tasks Before You enter this temple.
Aerith’s Limit Breaks (and how to get all of them quickly with the remaster)
Limit Breaks in the original Final Fantasy VII are divided into four levels, with the first three offering two unique abilities per character. Every time you reach a new Limit Break level, you learn the first skill of that level. How to progress in Aerith’s Limit Breaks FF7 (This pattern also applies to other characters, but the number of activations and kills differs from character to character):
- Activate Healing Wind 8x
- Kill 80 enemies with Aerith
- Activate “Breath of the Earth” 6x
- Kill 80 enemies with Aerith again
- Activate Planet Protector 5 times
Current new releases from FF7 The 3x Speed and God Mode options make this process very easy. Killing 80 enemies is still a challenge, but Aerith has great magical stats. Equip them with a powerful piece of magical materia and combine these spells with the “All” support materia to attack multiple enemies. This becomes even more effective when you encounter random encounters in areas with common enemies. The forests in the Junon region are great for this, as is the Mythril Mine, which you traverse after escaping the Midgar Zolom.
Aerith’s ultimate limit break
As you may already know, to unlock a character’s ultimate limit, you have to break in FF7you need to find the manual that teaches it (and of course you need to have achieved all three required Limit Break levels).
Once you get the buggy after escaping Corel Prison via the Chocobo Race, you’ll probably want to drive it to Costa del Sol. Make sure you go to the Costa del Sol by buggy. Do not get out of the vehicle.

Take the cargo ship back to the starting continent and ride the buggy across the river northwest of Junon. You’ll find a cave with a guy taking a nap. Talk to him and he will tell you how many battles you have fought. As long as your total number of battles ends with two matching odd numbers (133, 199, 77, etc.), you will receive Mythril.
After grabbing this item, continue through the story until you get the Tiny Bronco ship. Then go to the house southeast of the Gold Saucer and talk to the NPC there. If you give him Mythril, he will offer you a large or small treasure chest. Open the Little to receive the Great Gospel. Then navigate to “Great Gospel” in the menu and select and activate “Great Gospel” to teach Aerith her ultimate Limit Break.

Great Gospel not only heals the entire party’s HP and MP during combat, but also heals them of any status conditions – a key difference between using Great Gospel and the “God Mode” feature in recent new releases from FF7.
