Farmers in Lego Fortnite will be thrilled to hear that you can now collect Farm animals, by adding them to your villages. After being placed in tiny barns, they produce materials for you in exchange for food.
Below we explain in detail how to unlock farm animals in Lego Fortnite and what kind of resources they provide.
How to get farm animals in Lego Fortnite
To add farm animals to your Lego Fortnite village, you need to do the following:
- To reach Village level 2 to unlock the ability to build Animal houses.
- Place an animal house (10 boards). After placing the house, learn how to build it Animal treats.
- Go to your grill and prepare some animal treats (5 vines and 3 corn).
- After I found wild animals (Chicken, Cows, Pigsor sheep), feed her the animal treat. They will begin follow you for a short time.
- Go back to your village and feed the animal more treats when it stops following you.
- Interact with the animal house while the animal is still following you to assign the animal to the house. Each house can only accommodate one animal, so you’ll need to build several if you want to have multiple animals.
This means that the animal of your choice will remain as long as you have space for it in your village. They also sleep in their homes at night, so you don’t have to worry about skeletons or monsters getting them.
At village level 10, you can have up to seven animals in your village, but they also share resident slots with normal villagers. That being said, you may want to build a second farming village separate from your favorite characters in Fortnite if you want to grab some animals.
What do farm animals do in Lego Fortnite?
In exchange for shelter and food, animals produce various resources:
- Chicken: feathers and fertilizer
- sheep: wool and fertilizer
- Pigs: mushrooms and fertilizer
You also don’t need to feed them animal treats. Foods like corn and vines are great, so make sure you put some in their animal houses to gain resources.
This is a great way to get a steady stream of resources instead of going out and killing the animals.
