In Palworldyou will use high quality Pal oil to craft mid- and late-game items such as weapons, polymers, and advanced assembly lines. You won’t really find much high-quality Pal oil in the starting areas – you’ll need to advance to the more difficult parts of the map to extract the oil.

Below we explain where to find high-quality Pal oil Palworld.

With these Pals you get high-quality Pal oil as drops:

  • Woolipop
  • Dummy
  • Digtoise
  • Relaxaurus
  • quiver

There are probably more buddies dropping the oil, but these are the ones we’ve found so far. From this list come the monsters we’ve farmed most often for oil Digtoise And Dummy in the desert biome, which you can find below:

However, to travel safely in the desert, you need heat-resistant gear.

When we reached a higher level and were around our mid-20s, we started hunting Relaxaurus from this area:

Keep in mind that Relaxaurus hits pretty hard, so you need to be prepared. The only reason we prefer Relaxaurus over the Desert Pals is that unlike the Desert Pals, there is a fast travel point (Ascetic Falls) where they conveniently spawn.

You’ll get high quality Pal Oil in drops whether you’re catching or killing them. If you really want min-max, you should do that Catch the Pals to get the first drop, then slaughter them to get an additional oil drop. To slaughter Pals, you need to unlock the Meat Cleaver at level 12.

If you’re just starting out Palworld, we have guides for you, including a beginner’s guide and a type table, as well as instructions for obtaining ore, leather, sulfur and wheat seeds. If you’re ready to take on the first tower boss, we’ve got a guide for that too.
