Volcanic island of Agamen Your journey begins here Dragon’s Dogma 2but you quickly exit the area to grab back to begin yours real Adventure in Vermund.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will of course eventually send you back to where it all began, but the most obvious path is closed to you when you first arrive in Battahl. You also want to get to the island – not just for the story, but also to unlock it Magic archer And warmongers also professions.
In this Dragon’s Dogma 2 Guide, we’ll tell you How to reach the volcanic island of Agamen via two methods: the official route (opening the magic seal door of the Flamebearer Palace) or the back route (a route through Drabnir’s grotto).
How to open the Flamebearer Palace magic seal door in Dragon’s Dogma 2
When you first arrive in Battahl, you’ll likely find yourself on a quest called “Nation of the Blazing Flame“, which sends you to the capital city of Bakbattahl. If you look around near the Flame Bearer Palace, you will find a magic seal door It prevents you from going further south to the volcanic island of Agamen.
To open the magic seal door of the Flamebearer Palace, you must play the main story through the mission “A New Path of the Gods” (two quests after “Nation of the Burning Flame”). You will then receive “The Guardian Gigantus” as your next quest that sends you out the door.
Follow the quest marker to the stone door, interact with it and it will eventually open for you. But be warned: opening the magic seal door will release a large boss that you must hunt down in the new area. Only open the door when you are ready to complete the next mission and immediately head to the volcanic island of Agamen.
How to get to Volcano Island via the back path in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you don’t want to burn through the main story to reach the volcanic island of Agamen – perhaps because you’re just looking for early professions – you’ll have to take the back path: Drabnir’s Grottoa large cave in southern Battahl.
To reach Drabnir’s Grotto, exit the main gate of Bakbattahl and Head south along the roads. (You can also take the Bakbattahl pulley platform system to the intersection and then take the southern platform the rest of the way.) Continue following the southern path until you find an armored Cyclops guarding the cave entrance. Kill it, ignore the NPC warning you to stay away from Drabnir’s Grotto, and go inside.
Drabnir’s Grotto is a fairly large cave with many side tunnels. However, there is only one way through and the game shows where you have been before, so you can’t really get lost. There are no big, scary bosses here. Just a few goblins, rattles, slimes and a cyclops. If you venture into one of the open cliff areas you might also encounter a griffin.
Just Like Heaven Level 30 and you have healing supplies, this cave shouldn’t cause you much trouble as it’s a little more difficult than the rest of Battahl.
Once you leave Drabnir’s Grotto, you are just a short walk from the volcanic island of Agamen and the path there Volcano Island Camp. Make sure you place a port crystal somewhere on the island. Returning here will be a tremendous ordeal – until you open the door.
