Last weeks call of Duty The update brought two new weapons, the HRM-9 SMG and the TAQ Evolvere light machine gun. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to get the most out of the LMG. With a 100-round magazine, the TAQ Evolvere is more than capable of providing you with enough firepower, but choosing the right attachments and loadouts for both multiplayer and Battle Royale is crucial to getting the most out of this weapon to get out.

However, unlocking the TAQ Evolvere is not as easy as the HRM-9. You must complete at least five challenges on the Season One and Week Seven list. They are as follows:
- Get three first blood kills with a recommended weapon
- Get 20 kills with the Jak Beholder Rifle Kit equipped with TYR
- Get 20 kills with Jak Signal Burst equipped with Holger 556
- Get 20 kills with the Jak Headhunter Carbine Kit equipped with Rival-9
- Get 30 kills with Jak Bullseye equipped with a recommended weapon
- Get three Fury kills using a recommended weapon
You will notice that one of the weekly challenges has been omitted here. This is because there was a typo in the game. The “Get 30 kills with the AOK 4.0x RQ-9 Recon and a recommended weapon” challenge does not work when the AOK optic is equipped. Instead, use the KR Intlas LSJ-3 to complete this challenge.
You must reach at least rank 50 MW3 to get all the weapons for this challenge and complete the previous week’s challenges to unlock the Jak kits. To view each week’s challenge, select the six box icon in the top right corner of the main menu and navigate to Challenges. Tabs are displayed for each challenge.
You can also track different challenges more easily by clicking on them. This will pin them to the right challenge column on the match selection screen for easy viewing.
Best TAQ Develop setup
Once you’ve unlocked the TAQ Evolvere, here are the best weapon attachment options:
- Muzzle: LIKE BFB
- Barrel: LRF Righteous Long Barrel (or Eviction 762 Heavy Barrel)
- Underbarrel: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip (or SL Skeletal Vertical Grip).
- Optics: SL Trusight 2.5
- Rear stock: Bombardier stock
You may also want to swap one of these options for the 50-round 762 magazine to make the Evolvere easier to handle at the expense of ammo capacity.
To make the most of the TAQ Evolvere’s firepower, consider the following loadout options:
- Vest: Rifleman’s Vest (or Overkill if you want to carry a second primary vest)
- Tactical: Snap Grenade (or Stun or Flash if you want to mow down affected enemies)
- Deadly: Fragmentation grenade
- Gloves: Sniper Gloves
- Boots: Covert Sneakers (or Lightweight)
- Equipment: Magazine holster (or Ghost T/V)
With its high rate of fire and large ammo capacity, the TAQ Evolvere is worth unlocking and customizing it to suit your play style. Which options did you find most effective in your builds?
