The Artist’s Pit is a replayable dungeon in Cerrigar, Scosglen. Just northwest of the Cerrigar waypoint you will find the Artificer’s Obelisk (Portal Activator). From here you will gain access to the dungeon, so keep that in mind.
As for the dungeons themselves, they are timed, but don’t just have a numerical timer like The Kurast Undercity. Instead, a display appears on the right side of the screen with an hourglass marker that slowly moves from left to right.
A separate white triangle mark on the gauge shows your progress. For each enemy you kill, the meter fills slightly, moving the white triangle closer to the end.
You must defeat a large number of enemies to completely fill the gauge, which will cause the portal to the final boss to appear. You must fill the level completely And Kill the boss before the hourglass reaches the end to win. The faster you do it, the better your rewards.
Each time you complete a run and have time left, you unlock higher difficulty levels of The Pit Of The Artificer, representing difficulty levels up to (and beyond). Torment 1 to 4.
If you die in The Pit Of The Artificer, you’ll be given a time penalty that starts off like a slap on the wrist. However, the time penalty increases the more times you die. Ideally, you want to tackle difficulties that allow you to get through them quickly without dying.
