The Mystical spear hand Profession is one of the coolest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and essentially lets you play as a fantasy Darth Maul against dragons, griffins, and minotaurs – fulfilling a lifelong dream we all share, right? (Right?)
Unfortunately, Mystic Spearhand is one of the mysterious hybrid professions available only to you (and not your chess pieces). Dragon’s Dogma 2. And it is one of six professional fields that are initially closed. You must find a special NPC and unlock them before you can change your calling to Mystic Spearhand.
In this Dragon’s Dogma 2 We explain how and when you can find this guide Sigurd This is how you can unlock the “Mystic Spearhand” calling for yourself.
When can you unlock Mystic Spearhand in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
The Mystic Spearhand profession is the first of the hybrid professions you can take up Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you know exactly where to look, you can find it within yourself first five hours with the game.
To get this unlock going, follow our guide on which of Captain Brant’s quests in Vernworth you should complete first. As soon as they are done “Monster killing” (which in turn helps you unlock the Warrior and Wizard professions) and hand it over to Brant, then you are ready to unlock the Mystic Spearhand.
How to unlock Mystic Spearhand in Dragon’s Dogma 2
After completing Brant’s first quest, Travel back to Melve – the city recovering from the dragon attack. I recommend traveling quickly from Vernworth by bullock cart, otherwise it’s quite a long and windy ride and you can get there in seconds by cart.
Once you arrive, you’ll find that the village is under attack by another dragon – one with ugly, pulsating wounds all over its body. Rally to defend the city and fight the dragon by climbing all over its body and piercing its wounds. Once it escapes, look for a man with a hood and a double-sided spear. His name is Sigurd (as shown in the screenshot above) and he is here to hunt the very dragon you just drove away.
Speak to Sigurd and ask him about his unique fighting style. Ending the conversation will unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation.
Where to find Sigurd in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
But what if you missed the conversation with Sigurd after the battle? Or you just couldn’t find him in Melve? Once Harve Village is repopulated after the Scaly Invaders quest, you can find him in his house there too.
After the Tomcat Dragon attack on Melve, you can return to Harve Village at any time. On the east side of town, in the last house overlooking the ocean – called Coastal Hut You can find Sigurd on the map. Invite yourself and talk to him. Exhaust his dialogue options and you will automatically unlock Mystic Spearhand when you regain control of your character.
