Hugh Jackman proves that you can’t spend a quarter of a century with the X-Men franchise without knowing how to have a little fun with it. As the world watched the Super Bowl go into overtime and digested the trailer Deadpool and WolverineJackson tweeted about it.
Jackman is definitely back Deadpool and Wolverinealthough the trailer only teased his appearance by showing him from behind in a white suit and giving us a glimpse of his clawed shadow.
Why the secrecy? Well, the people behind it D&WWolverine’s marketing department is probably holding off on revealing a Wolverine costume. Ryan Reynolds revealed Jackman’s new look on his Instagram last summer, but one wouldn’t have expected that news to be as widespread as a Super Bowl trailer.

In a way, Jackman is just coming full circle with Reynolds. The two played the main roles X-Men Origins: Wolverinea film that is infamous for many things, but most of all for being a very, very very strange take on Deadpool.
Is Deadpool and Wolverine the apology we deserve? We’ll find out when it hits theaters on July 26th.
