Hardcore survival game Escape to Tarkov has been a hit, both by broadcasters and players, since December of 2019. But the end-to-end infrastructure of the game continues to fail. Things got worse this past weekend when the team at the Warstate Games gave everyone a million rubles – a game fee, not a real money – as compensation. Players have a few days to sign in and claim it.
"We're sorry you had to deal with server instability this weekend," the developers said in a tweet series. “We want to assure you that we are working tirelessly to improve server status, even though it is not always possible for us to fix it. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. ”
Dear players! #EscapefromTarkov
We apologize that you were experiencing an unstable server operation this weekend. As compensation, we will give you 1 million rubles for the game.
– you may receive a letter in compensation within three days, from this moment;

Many players are intrigued by the news, as that extra cash will get you a few high-end items from the game's storefront. But many were still less optimistic about the situation.
"One million of these?" Meaning another Twitter response. “I lost everything I had during the accident. Disconnection during combat and other. 1 Mill is not enough for that .. but thanks anyway. "
The problem arises in the high-level environment Tarkov Gameplay. Before getting into the gameplay system with their main character, players climb up from their weapons and gear units. If they die during that time, all their equipment can be seized by other players in that game. Things play out the same way when a game clashes. Or with myth insurance, there is no guarantee that you will return your luggage when the game fails.
Server and connectivity problems have worsened Tarkov since its release some years back. The latest renovation, implemented in October 2019, should have laid the groundwork for developing game-based infrastructure. It looks like the team at Battlestate still has a lot of work to do to improve the players experience. The servers have been downgraded this morning for another update, and patch notes are available via Twitter.
To get your million rubles, just sign in to the client and start the game. You will have a message waiting for you that will allow you to claim two million rubles. Note that when you sign in to this game, you only have 48 hours to search for those Rubles before they can be recovered.
