As a series from the 1980susually expect a new one street fighter Game to play it safe. Sure, every generation or two there might be a visual change, but Street Fighter is Street Fighter, it started as a 1v1 fighting tournament and it will be forever. Until Street Fighter 6 came along.
Before we go any further, I would like to state that I am not a serious fan of this series. I played through the second, I admired the graphics of the third from afar and have had little to do with it since, as I’m both terrible at fighting games and not really interested in them.
But I am very interested in street fighter 6because the slick new World Tour mode looks like everything you could ever dream of when a developer decides it’s time to shake things up. While we know the vague outlines of what this new game mode would entail for a whilea new showcase released today goes into great detail on what to expect.
It’s basically an open-world RPG mode. ‘Cause you know street fighter. Do not believe me? Check out this screenshot which is for an upcoming game in the street fighter

Unbelievable. You can also customize your look, which I think we already knew, but what I love about it here is that it’s not just cosmetic; Since this is an RPG mode, your choice of sneakers or boots will affect your, er, stride and, er, vitality:
Also unbelievable meis the fact that you come to it Fighting a fridge
I can’t stress how good it all is. I love it as much as i loved yakuzas Turn to turn-based combat, which while it didn’t prove to be a universal success, was at least a bold and intriguing attempt to breathe new life into a long-running series. Developers responsible for historical game franchises, please note: It’s greatly appreciated every time You try something new.
