Thank you to today Xbox Developer Directwe finally have the long-awaited details about the upcoming one Indiana Jones Game from Bethesda’s own studio and Wolfenstein Developer MachineGames. It says Indiana Jones and the Great Circleit switches between first-person and third-person perspectives, you can choose to proceed stealthily or with fists flying, and Troy Baker voices the legendary professor – but none of that matters. What matters is how MachineGames has managed to so faithfully recreate Harrison Ford’s untouchable 80s hotness.
If you’ve ever seen any Indiana Jones or war of stars Movie, you know very well how damn good Ford was in his youth (and still is today, let’s be honest). The blue-collar vibe and slightly sardonic attitude, coupled with his full head of dirty blonde hair, luscious lips, and bold nose, made him a hot guy that’s hard to describe. It’s not a scary beauty, but a grounded, almost normal beauty, like the sexy cowboy at the local line dance. He had the body of a man who could build you a house and the intelligence of a man who could quote Shakespeare from memory.
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg were obviously very familiar with Ford’s smoking hot existence, since in those early films he so often left a few buttons on his shirt undone, allowing us parched humans to see a glistening, muscular chest that was in… Swoon is wrapped in whispers of hair. When I saw him completely shirtless and glistening like a Thanksgiving turkey Temple of Doommy face almost melted like it was a Nazi Hunter of the lost treasure. The man is better than wine, so I was naturally worried that MachineGames would either give up on trying to recreate Ford’s face, or that they would try and it would fall into the depths of the uncanny valley instead.
If the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle When I finally panned away from the villain and showed us Indy buried up to his chin in sand, I was so pleasantly surprised to see a very handsome face staring back at me. The wrinkles on his forehead, the strong brows, that horizontal scar that cut like a line across his chin – the video game Indiana Jones is hot! He could get it! Does that mean it will be a good game? I do not care!
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC later this year and will be available on Game Pass from day one.
