It’s just nice to play on the PC for days

Having never played the game on PS4, I’ve settled in Days gone on my pc this week and found myself pleasantly surprised.

Not necessarily with the game itself; it’s a bit of fun Survival stuff and the zombie horde system are very cool, but I also hate everyone in it and am confused about how a 2019 PS4 game could feel so much too like a 2003 Xbox game.

But I’m not here to check Days gone, we’ve already done that back in 2019. I’m only here to say that it’s very beautiful, I got the chance to play it at all, and if it’s a game you’re more interested in than me, you’ll be happy.

One of the first things that caught my eye the track record of recent PlayStation games like horizon, how smooth and feature rich the pc port was from Days gone is. My system isn’t top notch, and for most games I’m usually stuck in between playing in 2K on the highest settings or in 4K and pull everything down.

Not Days gonewithout touching a single option I’ve only used a bunch of very high settings and have been walking like a dream ever since. I am not alone or happy either; Turns out this is a very good PC port that not only runs pretty damn well, it even launches PC specific Improvements not found in the PS4 / PS5 version of the game as you can see in the Digital foundry Video below.

The better these PlayStation ports get, the more excited I get for the inevitable Spirit of Tsushima Publication.
