The time has come. The wait is over. Japan’s newest one-on-one gundam is finally ready.
As previously reportedThis newest giant, Gundam, has risen near Yokohama’s Chinatown in Yamashita Futo Harbor in a special area called The Gundam Factory Yokohama. What makes this 59-foot gundam interesting is the degree of its movement – a total of 24 articulated joints.

YouTubers Japan Pro reviewed Giant Gundam during this week’s preview and interviewed the project’s creative director who was also responsible for the first Giant Gundam, which was built in 2009.
The Gundam factory opens on December 19th. It was originally scheduled for this October but has been delayed due to the global pandemic for security reasons for staff and visitors.
