Jason David Frank, the Green Power Ranger, has died at the age of 49

Jason David Frank, an actor and martial artist best known for his recurring role as a green (and later white) man rangers one Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, died. He was 49.

Frank’s manager Justine Hunt said in a statement:

Please respect the privacy of his family and friends at this terrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will really be missed.

Hunt did not disclose the date of Frank’s death. His former co-star Walter E. Jones, who played the original Black Ranger said on Instagram “Can not believe it…. RIP Jason David Frank🙏🏾. My heart is saddened to have lost another member of our special family.” His lineage is “another member”. Regarding the death of the yellow man Ranger, Thuy Trang, who died in a car accident in 2001.

Frank’s role as Tommy Oliver, also known as the Green Ranger, was originally just because run for 14 episodes in the original series.
