Kingdom Hearts fans started picking them apart Kingdom Hearts 4 Unveil a clues trailer with fervor on Sunday, noting details like the possible inclusion of a Star Wars world and Sora’s new range of subtle shoes. They also found the real-life luxury apartment building that Sora could live in in Tokyo, since the game’s “posterity” square is effectively a replica of the Japanese metropolis.
Based on a crowdsourced investigation by Tokioter Twitch streamer Audreyalso known aitaikimochiA self-described “Square Enix fangirl”, Sora appears to have a swanky apartment in Tokyo’s Aoyoma area. Aoyoma is an affluent and elegant neighborhood, and Sora’s rent is reasonable for the area. Audrey and her viewers excavated what appeared to be the actual apartment that served as a model for Sora’s new digs, and the rent is just under $2,000 a month – roughly $1 million if Sora wanted to buy.
How did Audrey and her viewers track down Sora’s whereabouts? By using landmarks displayed in the Kingdom Hearts 4 Trailer and of course Street View from Google Maps. The real home they found is called The Refined kingdom, and it’s your typical condo-style building. Sora probably has a one or two bedroom apartment, but the real draw is the balcony and all the natural sunlight that floods in. Photos from the model unit of the building
Of course, residents of the building may not know how accurately Square Enix and the Kingdom Hearts team recreated their place of residence. Please, Kingdom Hearts enthusiasts, do not turn this luxurious apartment building into a place of pilgrimage. Unlike Donald Duck, Sora is not real!
