eSoccer has been an absolute fiasco. The game wasn’t up to snuff and has let down many fans. I know it, you know it, and so does Konami.
Six months after launch, the game will finally get a big 1.0 update next week. Konami says it is worked hard to address problems and make improvements. The 1.0 update was originally scheduled for last fall, but was postponed to meet player expectations.
konami has already apologized for the eSoccer start, but inside the patch notes for version 1.0, the game company confirmed that, yes, eSoccer deserves the criticism it has received.
“We have entered a two-year development phase eFootball™ 2022‘ writes Konami. “However, we were so focused on getting the game out on time that we lost sight of the most important thing – the quality.”
“Of course we were confronted with critical reviews from rightly disappointed fans.”
upon release, eSoccer 2022—a renaming the popular Konami PES franchise – became the most hated game on steam and was saddled with an “overwhelmingly negative” review. The game was very badwhich was a shame because the PES Series was very good.
While the game’s rollout was terrible, Konami continues to show a strong desire to take responsibility and fix things. Good for you. And while it’s easy to knock out a seedy release, Konami says fans have been encouraging Tell the playmaker to make the best football game possible. According to Konami, “We were inspired by the warmth of the feedback and were able to pull together as a team even in the midst of the global health crisis.”
The 1.0 update will be released on April 14th. The update for eSoccer 2022The mobile version of has been postponed again. “The development team is working hard on the mobile version of the game to ensure the eventual release is of the highest quality that our valued fans rightly deserve,” writes Konami. “We will be making an announcement shortly regarding the release of the mobile version update. In the meantime, your patience is greatly appreciated.”
