Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 on Switch was a mess from the start. Like the buggy and incomplete release of the original game back in 2004last year’s port to Nintendo’s handheld hybrid, started with a bug that caused the game to play unbeatable for some players. Subsequent patches added more issues. And now, players will no longer receive the previously promised free Restoration Content DLC.
The studio behind the port, Aspyr, broke the bad news late Friday night, telling Switch owners of the game that the update aims to add support for a number of fan-made mods that fix and round out certain bugs KOTOR 2
“Unfortunately, we announce today that the Recovery Content DLC for the Nintendo Switch version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords will not advance to release,” the studio said tweeted on June 2nd. “We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support by providing a free video game key to players who have purchased.” Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch prior to this announcement.”
