Mordor’s most terrible monument will soon be available in Lego form. A new Barad-far Lego set is coming this summer from Lego and Warner Bros. Discovery, the Two companies announced this on Tuesday.
The set features Sauron’s massive tower as well as his glowing eye perched atop it. The tower also opens into a detailed throne room, which contains a hidden map and a ladder to the top floor. The middle portions of the tower also feature a variety of different modifiable options, including a feast table, an orc armory, and more, while the lower portion of the tower contains a functioning door at the base.
The Lego set will measure over 32 inches high, 11 inches wide and 17 inches long. It also holds a hidden secret: if you buy multiple sets, you can stack several different versions of the middle section to create an even more imposing version of Barad-dûr. But the price for multiple versions of this new 5,471-piece Lord of the Rings set will be quite high, with each costing $459.99.
In addition to the tower itself and a glowing center stone for the Eye of Sauron, the Barad-dûr set includes 10 minifigures including Sauron, the Mouth of Sauron, an orc, Frodo, Sam, Gollum, Gothmog and more. Additionally, if you purchase the set between June 1 and June 7, you’ll also receive a Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast Lego seat, featuring a version of the ominous flying creature with fully posable wings alongside a Nazgul is minifigure.
The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr set will be released on June 1st.
