Now that The Final VII Remake we're out – and given that many of you have been playing it for some days due to a recent coronavirus-related release – it's time we talk about how it ends.
Here's your warning: even if you've played the original The final concept of VII, you should not continue reading until you finish The Final VII Remake, coming out today with PlayStation 4.
Seriously, if you read something else, you'll be devastated.
I give you one last chance. Don't screw down with Sephiroth either Great spoilers for ending the game of The Final VII Remake it will be right in your face.
The man. Man! It's been a week since I finished The Final VII Remake, but that last sequence still stuck in my head, refused to go. The whole thing is left a little short, but a few things seem clear to me:
1) Those dementor-like spirits, the occasional gossip that chases you throughout the game, are there to ensure the events The Final VII Remake follow the timeline for The final concept of VII for real. This raises a few things and raises all sorts of questions – for example, do Cloud's views of events such as Reunion's death and Aerith's death mean that you've been through the original game before? Who knows???
2) By showing Zack surviving in his final spot – and with Sampisi as a different breed of dog for that second season at the end – the developers create a multi-layered presence, which is thought to be created when your team overcomes gossip. Does that mean we will be playing with virtual reality in the next games? Will Zack come back to life on the right timeline? Why did Aerith miss the Midgar sky ???
3) The title of the game suddenly makes sense. There is no "one part" at the end of The Final VII Remake because this is the only part that is strange. From here on, we're in the unincorporated section, and while we're seeing the characters and places The final concept of VII, from Vincent and Yuffie to Costa del Sol and The Golden Saucer, events can be completely different.
Or, as the last chyron puts it, "An unknown journey will continue."
It is a sensitive conclusion that is undoubtedly the most immersive, but I absolutely love it. I don't want to play The final concept of VII and with great artwork – I want something totally new, and I'm so glad this is what we found. Will Zack join the team? Will Sephiroth become a good boyfriend and help us fight Jenova? Will Aerith avoid death in this case? (You can count on it.) We don't even know what's going to happen in the upcoming installment of this game, and that's so much more fun than hopefully happening again in 1: 1.
