Computer and gaming peripheral company Logitech today announced plans to limit its carbon footprint and be powered entirely by renewable electricity within a decade.

Logitech said that the biggest differences can be achieved early in the product design. Logitech said it is achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 as early as possible, and its offices and manufacturing plants in Ireland, China and Switzerland use mainly renewable energy. The company said that "materials, design, manufacturing, and shipping" of its product lines, including Logitech G and Astro Gaming, have been reduced to net-zero emissions. It has been converted to "sustainable packaging" in the Logitech G and MX Master 3 series, and has begun to introduce recycled plastic into its mouse, keyboard, webcam, and other products.
