The Marvel Universe is broken and it’s up to Loki to fix it, according to the latest trailer for its upcoming series on Disney Plus. Marvel released the trailer for Loki on Monday, and it seems like the show is sending Loki from one famous Marvel movie moment to the next.

The trailer first reminds us of where Loki is and how he got there. in the Avengers: EndgameLoki recorded the Tesseract and was arrested almost immediately by the extremely stupid Time Variance Authority (TVA).

According to TVA officer Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), while recording the Tesseract, Loki accidentally broke the time and now he needs to fix it. And as it turns out, setting the time means traveling back through iconic MCU moments on a science fiction, reality hopping, and heist series.

During this trailer alone, Loki visits an alternate universe version of New York in which the Avengers Tower was decimated along with the rest of the city. He also shows up somewhere where he looks a bit like Sakaar THOR: Ragnarokand maybe even Pompeii? He even seems to be visiting Black Widow – somewhere that looks suspiciously like Vormir. And that only names about half of the references that the trailer is filled with.
