The Philadelphia Eagles will win the second Super Bowl championship for the city of brotherly love this weekend, at least they say Madden NFL 23in the latest simulation in the series of American football’s biggest event.
Eagles receiver AJ Brown had eight catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in EA Sports’ one-off simulation Philly won 31-17 over Kansas City. Unlike many previous Madden sims of the big game, this one doesn’t seem to come down to an exciting endgame. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was reported as the game’s MVP madden 23.
The Madden NFL Super Bowl sim dates back to 2004. It’s a one-off CPU vs. CPU game played on All Pro/Simulation difficulty with six minute quarters, which are the settings for online ranked games .
Kansas City Chiefs fans can take solace in the fact that Madden’s last two predictions have been completely wrong. Last year, the Los Angeles Rams won the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy; Madden said the Cincinnati Bengals would bring it home. In 2021, Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Madden claimed a 10-point win for Kansas City in that game.
Overall, the Madden NFL sim is 11-8 straight up, 12-7 against point spread, and 9-10 against over/under (score total). The Adler are currently the 1.5-point favourite, with 50.5 points as the over/under line. Madden doesn’t simulate the length of the national anthem or halftime shows or any other crazy bets, so you’re on your own there.
Super Bowl LVII between Kansas City and Philadelphia begins on Saturday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m. EST/3:30 p.m. PST at Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium, as they now call the stadium where the Arizona Cardinals play . Rihanna will perform at halftime. Fox is broadcasting the game in the United States with Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen in the commentary booth.
To update (February 12): Kansas City defeated Philadelphia 38-35, meaning Madden NFL 23 missed all three: straight-up winner, point spread winner, and over/under. Ouch! Patrick Mahomes also won the Super Bowl LVII MVP, so Madden missed that call to safety.
